The all-new CLAAS AXION 900 TERRA TRAC series tractors are the next generation in tractor technology. Providing more traction for increased pulling power, reduced soil compaction to safeguard future harvests, and the world's only fully suspended TERRA TRAC crawler track assembly and 4-point cab suspension that delivers a new standard of driver comfort. As a new solution for modern, efficient agriculture, the AXION 900 TERRA TRAC was awarded a silver medal at Agritechnica 2017.
TERRA TRAC Technology
The AXION 900 TERRA TRAC drives like a conventional four-wheel tractor and has front-axle steering. This allows drivers to operate the machine intuitively without having to acclimatise, and to take full advantage of all the benefits of the half-track concept.
Reduced Soil Compaction
Low ground pressure safeguards future harvests. The footprint of the crawler track assembly depends on the width of the track. If the front tyre contact area is included, it can be up to 4 m². This is 1 m² or 35% larger than a standard tractor.

The world's first full suspended half-track tractor.
The smart suspension system with a 120 mm travel provides a high level of driving comfort while keeping mechanical loads to a minimum. Idler wheels and support rollers with independent suspension enable ground speeds of up to 40 km/h and noticeably enhance cornering stability. Combined with 4-point cab suspension as standard and PROACTIV front suspension (960TT only), the all-new AXION 900 TERRA TRAC sets a new benchmark in operator comfort.
