POWER FEEDING SYSTEM (PFS)
The POWER FEEDING SYSTEM (PFS) increases the crop speed by 10% so that the pick-up, PFS and rotor speeds are matched to each other. Your advantage: evenly compacted, rock-hard bales with hard edges in any swathing conditions.
The continuous transverse feed auger, cushioned by shock absorbers and with large pitch and aggressive paddles, delivers the harvested crop far down into the rotor. In the process, the crop flow is effectively evened out and accelerated in its delivery to the rotor.
Hydraulic Pick Up
CLAAS offers a hydraulically driven intake for the QUADRANT 5300. The benefits of a hydraulic feed system are clear to see:
- Individual adjustment to harvest crop conditions for greater forage protection
- Greater adaptability to field conditions
- Optimised crop flow
- Reverse control from the cab, for maximum user-friendliness
Convenient reversing option controlled from the driver’s seat. The driver can also clear any blockages via the control terminal, from the comfort of the driver’s seat. This makes the task easier and less stressful.
Enhanced Reliability and Durability
Building on the success of previous generations, the new QUADRANT EVOLUTION has been redesigned to be more reliable while providing unmatched durability in the field.
- HD controlled pick-up with 5 rows of 18 double tines designed from CLAAS JAGUAR, with optional hydraulic drive.
- Stronger main chain (HD 3/4 inch) with new drive geometry and automatic chain tensioner, inclusive automatic chain lubrication system.
- New HD baling piston rollers and baling piston made from high-quality S700 steel.
Ease of Operation
Operate the bale ramp and bale ejector conveniently from the comfort of the cab via the 7″ CEMIS 700 touchscreen display, saving time from climbing in and out of the cab. Monitor output of pressed bales via an optional PROFI CAM 4, compatible with CEMIS 700 display. In addition, easy-to-open side panels provide excellent accessibility, and electrically controlled automatic greasing system reduces maintenance time.
