In less-dense crops you can reduce the speed from 1000 to 850 rpm or from 540 to 460 rpm in the DISCO 10 series. This reduces diesel consumption while maintaining mowing performance.

With working widths up to 4.20 m, the MAX CUT mower bed delivers optimum results under all conditions. The distinctive wave shape increases the cutting area, while mowing discs placed well to the front provide a clean, precise cut.

The tunnel effect keeps the crop clean. The large drive gears guarantee effective power transmission. The extremely wear-resistant knives stay sharp for longer and rotate freely through 360°.

The transport position of 95°, 105° and 120° and centre of gravity close to the tractor ensure uniform loading of the rear axle. This prevents bouncing when driving on the road. You can negotiate low structures with ease, and the rear view mirror gives you a clear view to the rear at all times.

All DISCO rear mowers are fitted with mechanical or hydraulic collision protection. When encountering an obstacle, the mower unit swings smoothly back and over it. This avoids damage and prolonged interruptions.

After a collision, just back up briefly to reset the mower, then you can carry on. With its robust components, the mowers are ideally equipped for continuous use. The hydraulic components are mounted in the frame for optimum protection.
