Victorian vegetable grower Schreurs and Sons has transformed its leek harvesting operation after upgrading to the ASA-Lift T-110 PO harvester. Producing 500 acres of leeks annually across Devon Meadows and Tarwin Lower, the family business replaced labour-intensive hand harvesting with the advanced single-row trailed harvester, dramatically improving productivity and efficiency. Based in Devon Meadows and Tarwin Lower, Schreurs and Sons is a major grower producing 1,500 acres of celery and 500 acres of leeks annually. In early 2021, they upgraded their leek harvesting operations with the ASA-Lift T-110 PO— a single-row trailed harvester with bin carrier and auto box filling—bringing dramatic changes to productivity and efficiency.

From manual to machine
“Before the ASA-Lift, all our leeks were harvested by hand—up to 15 workers per team.
