Hay Balers
Pure quality, with CLAAS square balers and compact bales from CLAAS round balers.
Since its market launch in 1988, the QUADRANT square baler has set new standards. Up to 51 knives ensure excellent cutting quality. The pick-up, with a working width of 2.35 metres, picks up even large and uneven swaths with ease. The optimum amount of forage is determined in the hydraulically controlled pre-chamber and pressed into clean hay bales in the bale chamber.
The ROLLANT round hay baler has been part of the CLAAS range since 1976. It is the world’s best-selling fixed-chamber baler. Depending on the model, up to 16 baling rollers ensure compact hay bales with high core compaction, which is particularly important when harvesting silage.
The ROLLANT UNIWRAP round hay baler wraps silage bales firmly and airtight with up to six layers of film. To minimise film consumption, you can pre-stretch the film by up to 82%. It is important that wrapping creates an airtight seal so that the fermentation process, which is essential for silage, can begin. This ensures that the valuable forage can be stored for months.
